About Counseling and Career Center

Vision and mision of Counseling and Career Centre

We are your helping hand

UCT Prague sets high expectations for its students. It shapes its graduates into versatile problem-solvers and innovators who, thanks to their expertise, become exceptional members of professional teams. The university also emphasizes comprehensive personal development, including stress management and fostering mental well-being. In all these areas, students can make use of the supportive and developmental services offered by the Counseling and Career Center (CCC).

The goal of CCC is to function as a service-oriented, supportive, and innovative body that provides students with care, development, and guidance. It acts as a bridge between students and the university administration by striving to understand mutual motivations, needs, and obstacles. CCC seeks to develop students’ potential while minimizing the negative impacts of academic demands.

All projects (overview available here) and the daily operations of the center are managed by the CCC project team along with a team of advisors and external collaborators. Student interns also support the implementation of projects. CCC additionally oversees the activities of the Tutors, which runs its own projects, particularly focused on supporting academic success.

All staff members at the Counseling and Career Center are bound by confidentiality and adhere to the Ethical Code of University Counseling.

Report from the counseling services

The online version of the report is available on the UCT Prague intranet (accessible after login).
