How to sell yourself in a job interview

Everyone invited to a job interview wants to succeed. We’ll talk about how to present your strengths and skills effectively. We will go over the most common questions you might be asked so that you can walk in prepared—what can earn you bonus points, what is better not to mention, and what you don’t have to answer at all. You will also learn how to respond when asked about your salary expectations.
We’ll look at what you should ask during the interview and why. And you will get tips on how to manage nervousness and stay as calm as possible if such situations put you under pressure.

Freshman and sophomore years done: determine your next steps.

Once you’ve settled in a bit at university, it’s a good idea to start taking your first steps toward your future career. If you leave all of this until the time you’re graduating, you will likely find that your better-prepared classmates have moved ahead of you. Or you may realize quite late that you’re missing something essential to land your dream job.

We’ll discuss how to think about your future profession, how to choose a field or work environment where you can thrive, and how to gradually build a solid foundation for a successful transition into practice. We will also talk about part-time jobs during your studies and what is most likely to catch an employer’s attention in your résumé or at an interview. This program is intended especially for second- and third-year students.
