Valuable experience during your studies
The mentoring program allows you to gain insight into the environment of companies and institutions during your studies, or to find out what a scientific career entails.
It is an effective method of learning and development that can greatly help you clarify your career direction and set long-term goals. In addition to gaining valuable experience and contacts, your mentor can help you tackle various academic and personal challenges and obstacles.
Working with a mentor is flexible in terms of time, and the scope and form of meetings depends on your individual agreement.
The program has limited capacity, so don't hesitate to apply.
Harmonogram
- Apply for the program.
- After applying, you will attend a group interactive workshop where you will clarify your direction and goals for communicating with your mentor. This will allow you to choose the mentor who will be most beneficial to you.
- You can choose a mentor from the list or come up with your own suggestion for the coordinator. It may happen that more than one student expresses interest in the same mentor. Therefore, the final pairing will be done through a competition system—after the introductory workshop, you will have the opportunity to record a short video profile (we will discuss tips and tricks during the workshop), and then it will be up to the mentors to decide who they want to work with. If your collaboration does not work out, we will try to find you a suitable replacement.
- This will be followed by 3-4 months of meetings. The frequency and content of these meetings will depend entirely on individual agreements between the mentor and mentee. We recommend meeting at least twice a month. In addition to conversations and meetings, you can visit your mentor at their workplace, observe them at work, or get involved in a specific project.
- The program ends with feedback collection and joint networking.
You can register HERE until February 20th.
