Product Development Officer – Dr. Max Own Label Portfolio
- Dr. Max is the leading pharmacy chain in Central Europe. In every country where we are active, Dr. Max is dedicated to improving the level of health care available by guaranteeing access to a broad assortment of medicines and pharmacy services. Our pharmacies are currently present in 6 countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Italy) with great expansion plans across Europe for the near future.
- Dr. Max Own Label provides a wide range of pharmaceutical products sold exclusively in Dr. Max pharmacies in all our countries. It includes licensed (Rx and OTC generic medicines), and non-licensed products (food supplements, cosmetics, vitamins, medical devices, etc.), currently covering the portfolio of about 1300 products in total.
- Dr. Max Own Label team is growing, and we are looking for a Product Development Officer to join our a brand new Product Development Team.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Being responsible for product development of non-lincensed or licensed products
- Being responsible for the formulation of new products like preparation of the product specification, preparation of the technical files, preparation of the sales argumentation
- Submitting product specification proposals for evaluation by the manager before moving to the next stage
- Completing organoleptic and physical tests on samples
- Bringing new ideas how to improve current/future products
- Preparing documents for smooth product development (carton labels, packaging specification – die cuts, colours, varnishes, material, recycling)
- Preparing logistics details (lead time, supplier, product hierarchy within the internal structure, MOQ, price, carton dimensions, planned launch date, etc.)
What do we expect from you?
- Some previous experience on a similar position is a huge advantage
- Creative and innovative thinking skills
- Give clear instructions and details about projects to the teams
- Good team player and communication skills
- Fluent English, native level Czech or Slovak
