Rules for using services

By registering as a student with specific needs, the student agrees to the following conditions/rules (confirmed by their signature):

1. I will request adjustments to study conditions from the course instructor (for oral exams) or from the department secretary / course guarantor (for written exams) no later than 2 working days before the exam or test.
2. I will request study condition adjustments before each exam/test or attempt, even if it is the 3rd attempt of the same exam/test.
3. If the information reaches the instructor later than the specified deadline, it will no longer be possible to request any adaptations for the exam, as it is likely too late to make changes.
4. I will always inform the laboratory course guarantor in advance about any health disadvantages relevant to the successful completion of the lab, for example, to arrange individual conditions, additional personnel support, etc.
5. I will submit my request for adjusted study conditions via email, attaching the issued Report for Adjusted Study Conditions.
6. If needed, I will make use of all available services of the Counselling and Career Centre, including psychological counselling, career counselling, library services, group therapy, printing study materials, borrowing compensatory and study aids, etc.
7. I may use the free ClaroRead software (software that reads and highlights text aloud), available for download on the UCT Prague Computing Centre website.
