Lenka graduated from a Waldorf school, which has a particular view on pedagogy. Through her studies there, she got very close to working with people. At the same time, she always wanted to be connected to nature and animals, so she decided to study at UCT Prague with the aim of understanding chemistry and basic relationships in nature so that she one day could work for the good of people and animals in general. While studying at UCT Prague, Lenka was an active member of the association IAESTE, and through her work there she realized that she believed in education and she enjoyed leading a team and working in an international environment. From this point, she began to form her vision to create opportunities for people to learn.
As a chemistry graduate, Lenka started working for a startup and then for the american company CEA Prague where she helped foreign students find internships and acted as a mentor for them. In 2019, she applied for the position of director of the NGO INEX-SDA, and she got the job. INEX-SDA deals with international volunteering and intercultural education. Lenka's work as directress was divided into three main sections - the first is the HR agenda, i.e. taking care of the staff, then the strategic management of the organisation and finally securing funding, which involves finding grants and their administration. At present, Lenka has founded a non-profit organization, and continues to look for offers in the framework of informal education.
For Lenka, inspiration is the biggest value that guides her life. "I think mentoring is just about getting inspired. I admire when people have the will to develop themselves, I think it's very important. And when a person is willing to draw on someone else's experience and knowledge, they can be inspired."
