My name is Lukáš Ferkl, my career path has taken me from managing the research institute at CTU UCEEB all the way to founding the firm EnviTrail, where I, as CTO, deal with ESG and the carbon footprint calculations for both small and big clients, such as ČSOB, PPF group or Škoda Auto. I have great experience with team leadership and complex projects management. I also require wide range of information on energetics, environmental issues and academic environment for my work. 

To me, mentoring means completely open knowledge and experience sharing, but also listening and understanding your goals and challenges. Together we can explore the possibilities of your future career, work on developing your skills and create strategies for achieving your academical and professional goals. I approach mentoring with respect and openness, which means that your topics and questions will always come first. Whether you seek concrete advice on energetics and sustainability or general navigation in the academical world and team leadership, I am here to help you find your way. 

Face to face meetings would preferably happen regularly every three to six weeks, depending on your convenience. I like to work with practical projects or „homework“, which can help you find out something about yourself, gain new skills or learn something. Aside from my professional life I spend my time with music, skiing, astronomy and evolutionary biology, which are areas that bring me not only joy but new perspectives to share with my mentees as well.
