The mentoring programme will provide you with a platform for networking and gaining experience in your professional and personal life.
A mentor will help you clarify where you can advance in your career, what goals to set or how to overcome difficult obstacles. In addition to professional matters, you can also discuss with your mentor issues on a personal level, such as how to reconcile your scientific career with your personal life.
Working with a mentor is flexible in terms of time, the scope and format of the meeting depends on your individual agreement.
Postgraduate mentoring is open to all current PhD students, staff and alumni of UCT Prague.
The capacity of the programme is limited so, do not hesitate to sign up!
Schedule
- Sign up for the programme.
- After signing up, you will collective informative workshop with the coordinator. Together we summarise your expactations and your goals, which you want to successfully achieve during this mentoring program.
- Choosing a mentor should reflect your individual needs. You can choose one yourself or in cooperation with the programme coordinator. You can also find inspiration in our offer.
- This is followed by 3-4 months of meetings. The frequency and content depend purely on the individual agreement between mentor and mentee. We recommend seeing each other at least twice a month.
- The programme is concluded with the collection of feedback and joint networking.
