Olesja came to Zlín to work as a project manager in the Technological innovation center after finishing her studies in Olomouc and Prague. She was in charge of the acceleration program for aspiring businessmen “My first million”. Thanks to her determination and hard work she quickly made her way up the career ladder, even though she had no experience with managing a project or with entrepreneurship. After six years she is now able to give students advice on their projects and can help them start their businesses and generate business ideas.

She and her colleagues are the authors of a business teaching methodology, which is now used in high schools, and at the Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín. This year she completed a certified coaching course, which, as she believes, can make her very helpful to both the academic and student community.

She is entering the mentoring program with hopes to help students achieve their goals. She believes it is important to support young and talented individuals with the potential to succeed in the business world or become excellent employees. She will gladly share her experience with teaching business at a university with students as well as academic workers or doctorands, all of whom can become mentees to Olesja.
