What can I help my mentee with?
|
Anna studied as a biophysicist, but as she says, the post doc position at KTH made her become a chemist as well. She works with nanomaterials and their potential applications in biology. Her work includes their synthesis, chemical and physical analysis and cytotoxicity studies. Despite living with dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysorthographia, Anna has managed to overcome these obstacles and now she is doing what she enjoys most - science. She has published extensively and her scientific work has been recognized with several prestigious awards.
As a mentor, she would like to help students reach their full potential. She believes that it is very important to have a chance to ask a senior person any question to clarify one's own life goals and broaden one's horizons. "My goal is that a student who comes to me and starts at a certain percentage, leaves a hundred percent better. It's up to them what they need to improve."
