Help with problems that make it difficult for you to study
Psychological counselling is a safe place for anyone who needs free mental health help. If you are worried about problems that make it difficult for you to study, don't be afraid to contact us and find a suitable solution together with the psychological counsellor. Whether you are in a crisis situation, dealing with long-term family or personal problems or troubled by interpersonal relationships, we can find the right help for you.
Psychological counselling services
We don't take any situation lightly and we always strive to provide you with the best assistance.
The counselling offers you:
- Short term psychotherapeutic care
- Crisis intervention
- Intercultural counselling
- Help with experiences of inappropriate sexual behaviour
- Help with problems in the workplace, etc.
You can contact us if:
- you find yourself in a difficult life situation
- you are experiencing difficulties with your studies
- you are feeling depressed and/or anxious
- you are having difficulties in your relationships
- you are feeling anxious about the future
- you are feeling stressed or burned out
- you want to work on your self-development
Counselor can also correctly refer you to other specialist help if needed.
The counselling is completely discreet and no one will know about it unless you choose to make it known yourself. It is also possible to meet outside the school building. We provide all services completely free of charge.
Services in English are run by Kristina Vintonjak. She also speaks Ukranian, Russian and French.

How to sign up?
To book an initial consultation, please contact kristina.vintonjak@vscht.cz from your school e-mail address. In your message, briefly describe your problem, suggest a few meeting dates and include your phone number. The psychologist will contact you in the upcoming few days to schedule a consultation and discuss the next steps.
If you are unable to attend the consultation, please contact the psychological counsellor in advance.
